In Loving Memory

A Life Well-Lived
Thomesa was a woman who loved Jesus more than anything and lived her life as a testament to His grace. For more than half of her life, she devoted herself to living by the Word of God, sharing the gospel with others, and serving those in need. Her commitment to Christ was the foundation upon which her entire life was built, and her family, her friends, and her community were blessed by the fruit of her devotion.
A devoted wife to her husband, Bruce, Thomesa was a constant source of love and support. Together, they built a home grounded in faith, and it was in this home that Thomesa raised their children, instilling in them the values of love, prayer, and righteousness.
Thomesa was so proud to see her children continue in the faith, raising their own families with the same foundation of Christ-centered love that she and Bruce had laid. Her greatest joy came from seeing her children and grandchildren walking in the faith and serving God with the same passion and commitment she had.
Thomesa’s love for God and others was evident in her service to the church and community. She served in numerous ministries, including the dance ministry, where she used her gifts to praise and glorify God. She also devoted herself to the prison ministry, bringing the hope of Jesus to women behind bars.
Her heart for the youth was reflected in her tireless work with the youth ministry, where she mentored and guided many young people in their walk with God. Thomesa also spent many years counseling young men and women outside of church, offering wisdom, encouragement, and prayer to those who sought her guidance.
Her compassion extended beyond the church walls. For several years, Thomesa served at a local pregnancy center, offering support, love, and resources to young mothers and expecting families in need. Whether she was teaching, counseling, or simply offering a listening ear, Thomesa’s heart for others was as big as her faith. Additionally, she attended bible college alongside her husband and two youngest sons, an experience she always looked back on fondly.
A Legacy of Faith
As a homeschooling mother, Thomesa dedicated herself to ensuring her children received both an excellent education and a firm spiritual foundation. With Bruce by her side, she created a home where Christ was at the center, and her children grew up knowing the love of God and the importance of His Word. Thomesa’s legacy is woven into the lives of her children and grandchildren, who carry her faith forward in all they do.
Thomesa’s love for her family was deep and unconditional. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and devotion that will continue to inspire all who knew her. While we mourn her passing, we take comfort in knowing that she is now with the Lord, hearing the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Thomesa’s life was a reflection of God’s love and grace. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. But her legacy of faith will live on, carried forward in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and all who were touched by her kindness, wisdom, and devotion.
